Kuala Lumpur International Airport, opened on 27 June 1998, is the most important in Malaysia and one of the busiest in Asia. It is also considered a major connection hub, especially for low-cost airlines. It operates domestic and international flights across Asia and to some destinations in Europe, Oceania, the Middle East, and Africa.

Number of Terminals – 2 – Terminal 1 (regular flights) and Terminal 2 (low-cost flights). Open 24 hours a day and connected every 15 minutes via a free shuttle bus service (Gate 4 of Terminal 1, Bay A10 of Terminal 2).

Annual passenger traffic: 57 million passengers passed through in 2024.

The airport is located in the district of Sepang, state of Selangor, 45 km (28 miles) south of Kuala Lumpur.

Parking services at Kuala Lumpur airport (KUL)

Near Terminal 1, there are four short-term parking blocks with 7 levels each (A, B, C, D), with spaces for motorcycles; a long-term parking facility (LTCP) with a free shuttle bus every 15 minutes; and a combined short- and long-term car park next to Sama Sama Hotel (E).
